Description:

The 86 Days Pilsner Coopers Beer Concentrate by BROWIN is designed for brewing your own beer at home. This 1.7 kg concentrate yields approximately 23 liters of fresh, golden beer with a balanced profile of malty sweetness and herbal notes, finished with a crisp bitterness.

Characteristics:

This product, from the Australian company Coopers, is specifically made for producing 23 liters of beer. Each can contains:

  • 1.7 kg of hermetically sealed hop malt with a consistency similar to caramel/honey
  • A package of beer yeast (included under the lid)

The maximum achievable alcohol content is 5.2%. You can also create lighter beers by reducing the amount of sugar. Refer to the table below to determine the proper sugar quantity for the desired beer strength.

Amount of Sugar Beer Strength
1000g 5.2%
500g 4.6%
450g 4%
250g 3.4%

Usage:

Making homemade beer is straightforward, but it's essential to maintain cleanliness and proper proportions.

Required Equipment:

  • Cooper's concentrate (with attached beer yeast packet)
  • 1 kg of sugar or enhancer
  • Light malt extract or enhancer
  • Water
  • Sugar measuring cup
  • Demijohn (30L) or zymotic container
  • Zymotic straw
  • Measuring spoon
  • Crown caps
  • Bottles for storage

Follow these steps to prepare your beer:

  1. Place the closed can in hot water for about 10 minutes to liquefy the contents.
  2. In a 5L vessel, dissolve 1 kg of sugar in 2L of boiling water until fully melted. Then, add the concentrate and mix thoroughly.
  3. The final temperature of the mixture should be about 21-21°C. At this point, add the yeast from the packet. Remember, temperatures above 30°C can kill the yeast, while fermentation will not start below 18°C.
  4. After adding the yeast, mix everything and seal the vessel, inserting the fermentation straw into the cork.

Enjoy your brewing experience!
