The YATO Piston Ring Tool Set YT-06373 is a professional-grade kit designed for handling piston rings and pistons. This set includes specialized pliers for the safe removal and installation of piston rings without damaging vital engine components. The clamping arms open the piston ring held by the side jaws, allowing the center jaws to function effectively. Releasing the pressure facilitates the precise placement of the ring into the groove around the piston.
Equipped with a piston groove cleaner featuring three adjustable discs, this tool allows you to tailor the blade to the appropriate diameter of the piston by sliding the disc across a flat bar.
Moreover, the set comes with three piston ring crimpers, which are essential for securely seating piston rings within engine cylinders. These crimpers accommodate piston sizes of 50-125mm and 60-175mm. The complete set includes ten pieces conveniently stored in a portable carrying case.
