Method of Measurement:

• Open the measuring surfaces slightly wider than the object to be measured.
• Rotate the drum to set an approximate measurement, then tighten with the friction clutch knob.
• Stop tightening when the clutch engages, indicating the drum will no longer rotate while turning the knob.
• Read the measurement according to the visual reference provided.

It is recommended to secure the measured part or micrometer before starting the measurement to ensure the highest possible accuracy. Taking multiple measurements may help in obtaining an arithmetic average of the results for greater precision.
