The base of the YATO YT-37036 tile cutter is constructed from pressure-cast aluminum and includes two movable supports to accommodate large tiles, as well as a metal movable angle bracket. The bearing-mounted breaker assembly is fitted on sturdy steel guides made from 16 mm diameter tubing. The cutting knife is a circular blade with a diameter of 8 mm, permanently mounted on a mandrel sized 10 x 82 mm. The work surface has two strips of technical micro-rubber to facilitate tile breaking. The breaker lever, made of steel with a diameter of 15 mm, also acts as a knife position lock.
