The YATO YT-2341 is a high-quality spray gun designed for efficient painting tasks. It utilizes compressed air to create a fine mist of paint, ensuring a smooth and even application on various surfaces.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Getting Started
Begin by tightening the nozzle with a wrench. Ensure the connections in the compressed air supply system are secure. Before connecting the supply hose, blow it out with air. Verify that the spray gun is clean and well-maintained, and that the coating material tank is properly sealed.
Adjusting the Spray Jet Width
The spray width and shape can be adjusted by rotating the air nozzle, enabling you to switch between flat and round spray patterns as needed. Use the coating material quantity adjustment knob to control how much material is delivered, and the spray adjustment knob to dictate the intensity of the mixture. For optimal results, aim for the smallest particle size to achieve even coating on the surface.
Working with the Gun
Maintain a distance of 10 to 15 cm between the gun outlet and the surface to be coated. Ensure the gun is held perpendicular to the surface to prevent uneven application. It is more effective to apply multiple thin layers, rather than one thick layer.
Adjusting Air Flow
Depending on the type of coating material used, adjust the air pressure control knob to select the appropriate amount of compressed air.
Replacing the Nozzle
Always replace the entire nozzle set, which includes the coating material nozzle, needle, and air nozzle.
Needle Seal
Regularly check the tightness of the firing pin seal. If worn, the seal should be replaced during inspection, using a wrench to remove the seal assembly.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After use, disconnect the gun from the compressed air system and empty the tank of any leftover coating material. Clean the tank thoroughly and ensure that the entire coating path is free of residues; inadequate cleaning can hinder the material flow. Clean the air nozzle with a brush dipped in solvent, and avoid immersing the entire gun in solvent. Do not use hard objects to unclog orifices, as this may damage internal components. After washing, lubricate the moving parts of the seals and ensure the coating material nozzle is tight enough to prevent leaks while allowing the needle to move freely.
