Category 4 Lenses
These lenses provide maximum protection against intense ultraviolet (UV) rays in high-altitude and glacial environments. They filter up to 95% of visible light. At high elevations, the intensity of UV rays increases, making it crucial to use specific lenses to prevent eye damage such as corneal inflammation or photoconjunctivitis, commonly known as "snow blindness".
