The Mini Alcohol Meter from BROWIN (model code: 405549) is a compact and handy hydrometer that allows for the measurement of alcohol content in clear spirits, which contain no sugars.

• For pure spirits - This hydrometer is designed specifically for measuring the percentage of alcohol in pure spirits (vodka, ethanol), free from additional sugars and colorants that could distort the results! It is not intended for wine, liqueurs, or flavored spirits.
• Accurate measurement - The hydrometer enables precise measurement of alcohol content ranging from 20% to 96%. To ensure accuracy, measurements should be conducted at a temperature of 20°C.
• Ready result - The reading taken directly from the hydrometer is the final value and does not require further calculations. Measuring the alcohol percentage has never been so straightforward!
• Easy to use - To take a measurement, place the float in a container and then fill it with liquid so that the hydrometer floats freely. It is crucial that it does not touch the walls of the container during the measurement. The result indicates the % value read from the bottom meniscus of the liquid.

The alcohol meter is a valuable tool that will surely come in handy in your household as well as in bars during the preparation of mixed drinks! This device features a float with a prominently marked scale ranging from 20% to 96% alcohol content. With the help of this device, you will easily, quickly, and most importantly, accurately measure the percentage of alcohol in pure spirits (vodka, ethanol), without the addition of sugars and colorants that can alter the outcome. Therefore, it is not suitable for measuring alcohol content in wines or flavored spirits.

Performing the measurement is extremely simple, and the result is read directly from the scale, requiring no additional calculations.

Since the instrument is calibrated at a temperature of 20°C, it is recommended to take measurements at the same temperature. Because liquids change their density with temperature (the molecules expand and contract), measurement at 20°C will yield the most reliable and precise results. Tolerance of the result: +/- 2%.

Usage:

1. Place the measuring device into a tall container.
2. Then pour the appropriate amount of liquid into the container (the indicator should not touch the walls or bottom of the container).
3. Once the buoyancy level has stabilized, read the measurement on the scale of the hydrometer.

Note: This meter is designed to measure the alcohol content in clear, sugar-free vodkas. The solution being tested at the time of measurement should have a temperature of 20°C.
