Description:

The BROWIN Australian Pale Ale Coopers beer concentrate (model code 407310) is a high-quality product designed for brewing your own beer at home. This concentrate allows you to create exceptionally strong beer with an original taste, making it a perfect choice for beer connoisseurs.

Characteristics:

This product from the Australian company Coopers is formulated to produce 23 liters of beer. Each can includes:

  • 1.7 kg of hermetically sealed hop malt without any preservatives (the malt consistency is similar to caramel/honey)
  • A packet of beer yeast (included under the cover)

The maximum achievable alcohol level is 5.2% (lighter beers can be made by reducing the amount of sugar). You can refer to the attached table to determine the proper amount of sugar needed for your desired beer strength.

Amount of Sugar Beer Power
1000g 5.2%
500g 4.6%
450g 4%
250g 3.4%

Usage:

Preparing homemade beer is straightforward, but it is essential to maintain cleanliness and proper proportions.

Required Equipment:

  • Cooper's concentrate (with beer yeast packet included)
  • 1 kg of sugar or enhancer
  • Light malt extract or enhancer
  • Water
  • Sugar measuring device
  • Glass demijohn or 30-liter fermentation container
  • Fermentation straw
  • Measuring spoon for sugar
  • Crown caps
  • Bottles for transferring beer or plastic bottles

Next Steps for Beer Preparation:

Place the closed can in hot water for about 10 minutes (this will liquefy the content and make it easier to pour out). In a 5-liter vessel, add 1 kg of sugar (this can be substituted with enhancer or malt). Pour in 2 liters of boiling water and mix until the sugar dissolves. Next, add the contents of the can and mix again. The final temperature of the mixture should be around 21-21°C. At this temperature, you can add the beer yeast from the packet. (Important: temperatures above 30°C will kill the yeast, while fermentation will not start below 18°C.)

After adding the yeast, mix everything, close the vessel’s opening, and insert the fermentation straw into the cork. The approved fermentation temperature ranges from 18 to 24°C. Caution: Only experienced brewers can use lower fermentation temperatures, between 15 and 20°C.
