The BROWIN 10 L Demijohn with a wide neck, model code 644110, is designed for home winemaking and fermentation. This durable glass demijohn is held in a sturdy plastic basket, providing ease of handling.
How to use: Glass should not be subjected to sudden temperature shocks, as excessive differences in temperature might lead to damage. Before use, it is recommended to store the demijohn at room temperature for at least one hour. Do not pour water with temperatures above 50°C over the demijohn. It is advised to wash the glass in lukewarm water with the addition of disinfecting agents such as potassium metabisulphite or Oxi Turbo. Due to the high stresses occurring during turbulent fermentation, it is recommended to close the demijohn during that time with a less tight cotton swab, which helps to prevent potential cracking of the glass.
