A narrow-opening glass demijohn with a capacity of 15 L, it is intended for the fermentation of wine, beer, and mead. The removable plastic casing enables easy cleaning while providing protection against breakage. The sodium glass construction is certified for contact with food. The tight seal allows you to monitor the fermentation process effectively. It is advisable to perform the first fermentation with pulp in a fermentation container, then continue the fermentation process in the glass demijohn after siphoning off the fruit. Avoid washing the demijohns in hot water or exposing them to sudden temperature changes, as this can damage the glass. Use lukewarm water mixed with potassium metabisulphite or Oxi Turbo solution for cleaning.
How to use: To prevent damage, do not expose glass to sudden temperature shocks. Store the demijohn at room temperature for at least one hour before use and avoid pouring water above 50°C over it. Use lukewarm water with disinfecting agents for cleaning. Due to high pressures during turbulent fermentation, it is recommended to use a less tight cotton swab to cover the demijohn during this time, which helps prevent cracking.
NOTE: The color of the demijohn screw caps is chosen at random (blue, dark green, or brown).

Stoppers fitting a 15 L demijohn:

- Rubber stopper with a closure of 43 mm (647343)
- Cork stoppers with a diameter of 45/37 mm, without an opening for sealing the carboy (952900, 653005)
