This 5 L carboy is suitable for fermenting wine, beer, mead, as well as for storing ready alcohols or juices. Crafted from glass that meets all food safety certifications for alcohol contact, this carboy is not heat-resistant. Its handle facilitates pouring and carrying. The base is secured by a removable plastic basket, and it includes a leak-proof plastic stopper wrapped in wire, fixed permanently on the bottle neck.

Instructions for use: Avoid exposing the glass to excessive heat as extreme temperature differences may cause damage. It is recommended to clean the glass with lukewarm water with disinfectants such as potassium metabisulfite or Oxi Turbo. During turbulent fermentation, it is advisable to use a less leak-proof cotton spigot to prevent possible glass breakage.
