Description:

This European Lager Coopers beer concentrate by BROWIN allows you to brew your own beer at home. This concentrate is inspired by premium Lager beer, providing a traditional light beer experience with a refreshing and pure taste.

Characteristics:

This product from the Australian company Coopers is designed for producing 23 liters of beer. Each can contains:

  • 1.7 kg of hermetically sealed hop malt, free from preservatives (the malt has a consistency similar to caramel or honey)
  • A packet of beer yeast (included under the lid)

The maximum achievable alcohol content is 5.2%. You can also create lighter beers by reducing the sugar content. Using the provided table, you can select the appropriate amount of sugar for your desired beer strength.

Usage:
Preparing homemade beer is exceptionally simple, but it’s important to maintain cleanliness and proper proportions regarding ingredients.
Required Equipment:

  • Cooper's concentrate (with beer yeast packet included)
  • 1 kg of sugar or enhancer
  • Light malt extract or enhancer
  • Water
  • Sugar measuring device
  • Demijohn (30 l) or fermentation container
  • Fermentation straw
  • Measuring spoon for sugar
  • Crown caps
  • Bottles for pouring beer or plastic bottles

Next steps in beer preparation:

  1. Place the closed can with the concentrate in a sink filled with hot water for about 10 minutes.
(This will liquefy the contents and make it easier to pour.)
  2. In a 5-liter vessel, add 1 kg of sugar.
(Note: sugar can be replaced with enhancer or malt.)
  3. Add 2 liters of boiling water and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Then, add the contents of the can and mix again.
  4. The final temperature of the mixture should be around 21–21°C. At this temperature, add the beer yeast from the packet.
(Caution: temperatures above 30°C will kill the yeast, while fermentation will not start below 18°C.)
  5. Once the yeast is added, stir everything, seal the vessel (demijohn), and insert the fermentation straw into the cork.

The approved fermentation temperature is between 18 and 24°C.
