Directions for Use:

Place the carbon on a strainer, pour hot water over it, then rinse under running tap water (approx. 20°C) for about 3 minutes, turning it until the water is clear. Let it drain the remaining water; the carbon is then ready for use. The principle of using activated carbon is similar to that of regular water filters. For optimal performance, the flow time for 1 L of fluid through the bed should be at least 1 hour (adsorption efficiency depends on contact time). Alternatively, place the activated carbon in a nylon mesh and submerge it in the liquid for at least 6 hours, stirring regularly. The effectiveness also depends on fluid temperature - the optimal temperature for the adsorption process is 10°C.
