This universal wine yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, originates from the Corbieres region of France and is perfect for home winemakers who seek to create fruit-forward wines with distinct characteristics.

This yeast is particularly recommended for a variety of fruits, including chokeberries, elderberries, blackcurrants, black grapes, sweet cherries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and plums. It effectively extracts the aroma from red and high-tannin fruits that benefit from long maturation.

To achieve optimal fermentation, maintain a temperature between 18 and 32°C.

Each sachet of Fermivin VRS yeast facilitates the preparation of 10 to 35 liters of wine.

Easily usable, Fermivin VRS requires only a short rehydration period prior to use.

Directions for Use:

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 100 ml of boiled water cool down to 30°C, and let it rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. After this period, pour the solution into the fermentation container or carboy with the batch of wine.

For best results, it is recommended to use nutrient additives such as vitamin B1 and Kombi Vita in conjunction with the yeast.
