This yeast is particularly recommended for homemade liquors made from gooseberries, pears, apricots, strawberries, cereals, hawthorn, apples, wild rose, various grapes, rhubarb, raisins, wild cherries, cherries, raspberries, greengages, purple plums, black elderberries, chokeberries, blackberries, and currants. Originating from the Champagne region in France, the specially selected “bayanus” strains ensure rapid and reliable fermentation, even under difficult circumstances. They maintain the neutral aroma profile of the wine, allowing the natural fruit flavors to shine through. Ideal for restarting fermentation when the wine ceases to develop, the yeast is user-friendly: a single 7 g packet is sufficient for batches between 10 and 35 liters. How to use: Mix the contents of the yeast sachet with 100 ml of pre-boiled water cooled to 30°C. Let it sit for 20 minutes at room temperature. Then pour the mixture into a fermentation container or demijohn with the wine batch. Ingredients: Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. bayanus winemaking yeast, emulsifier: sorbitan monostearate. Note: use the entire contents of the package.
