The BROWIN 340416 15 L fermentation container is designed for brewing beer, wine, and sugar-based batches. This white container features a swivel tap and a lid, allowing for effective fermentation and ease of use.
This cost-effective complete set enables you to create your favorite homemade liquor. Constructed from high-strength, elastic white plastic that is approved for food contact, the container has been certified by the Polish National Institute of Hygiene (PZH). It is resistant to discoloration caused by tannins from fruits. The package includes a lid with an opening and a fermentation stopper with a plug, allowing you to seal the container or install an airlock. Drilling an extra opening lets you install an angular tube for fermentation in multiple stacked containers. The container also features a handle for easier transportation.
The container and lid are made of BPA-free polypropylene.
How to use:
To open the container, slightly lift the lid, insert a spoon handle into the gap, and run it around the rim. Avoid using rough washcloths for cleaning, as this may scratch the surface and lead to contamination. Ensure the gasket is placed on the outside of the container when installing the tap for complete tightness.
NOTE: The rims can be further sealed by smearing them with petroleum jelly or edible oil. Thoroughly disinfect the fermentation container with potassium metabisulphite before use.
Maximum allowed batch temperature: 85°C. The temperature of the container prior to filling should be at least 5°C.
Maximum alcohol concentration in the batch: 50%.
The set includes:
Storage with UV Protection
To prevent damage from UV radiation, containers—whether empty or filled—should not be stored outdoors. If outdoor storage is unavoidable, protect the containers and lids with a UV-resistant plastic tarpaulin.
Storage of Empty Containers
Containers and lids should be stored in a dry place at a stable temperature to protect them from moisture and water condensation, which can damage the packaging. It is also essential to store these in clean rooms to minimize dust or dirt contamination.
Every country has its own legal regulations governing the manufacturing of ethyl alcohol, wine products, and spirits, including their introduction to the market and penalties for non-compliance.
