These casings are 100% pork-derived, recognized for their impressive strength and uniformity. They enhance moisture extraction, leading to faster drying and better smoke infusion when smoking your sausages.

Thanks to their dried nature, these casings can be stored at room temperature with convenience.

How to Use: Soak the casings in lukewarm water for 5 minutes, then stuff them with your chosen meat filling and follow your sausage recipe. Each casing is sealed on one end. After filling, tie the open end with twine or use hog ring pliers. They can be cut to size as needed. These casings are natural and can be consumed, or removed easily from the finished product.

If using as an alternative to a foil pouch, soak them in lukewarm water for 5 minutes, then fill in the ham maker. Secure the end of the casing and tighten with the ham cooker lid or spring. To remove the food, pull on the casing, using a knife to lever the filling if necessary.

Unused hydrated casings can be left to dry for later use.
