SDS Plus Rotary Hammer 620W - Model 79054 by STHOR
The universal SDS+ rotary hammer is ideal for renovations, enabling drilling with or without impact. It features an interchangeable holder for SDS+ or cylindrical drills up to 13mm, making it versatile for various tasks like creating grooves, tiling, and flooring.
Included in the practical carrying case:
The percussion energy of 2.4J is optimal for efficiently removing old tiles without the risk of damaging plumbing or cracking partitions.
It can drill in metal and wood without impact, and drive Torx-tipped screws into wooden structures.
A metal drilling depth stop is included to control the depth during drilling, essential for thin partitions to prevent uncontrolled drilling through the wall.
The long rubber cable provides easy access to ceiling heights when installing suspended ceilings or lighting.
Rotation Direction Setting: The hammer drill features a rotation direction switch conveniently located above the trigger.
Switch Lock: Recommended for prolonged drilling, such as in concrete or masonry. Press the switch and, while holding it, use your thumb to press the lock button and then release the switch.
Type of Work Setting: To change the operation mode, there is a lock-equipped switch. Hold the lock button to change the switch position.
Replaceable Drill Chuck: The rotary hammer allows you to change the drill shank, enabling users to switch from the SDS Plus to a chuck that accommodates standard cylindrical drill bits.
Key Features of the STHOR 79054 Hammer Drill:
This hammer drill features infinitely variable speed control of the spindle and the disconnection of the impact function, making it suitable for drilling in materials like wood, metal, and plastics.
Equipped with a clutch to prevent motor overload, the drill stops rotating if the insert tool is halted, such as when hitting rebar, while the electric motor continues to run.

Power Tool Usage Examples:
Drilling in Wood: Securing the workpiece with clamps or in a vise is recommended before drilling. Use a punch or nail to mark the drilling spot, select the appropriate drill bit, set the speed, connect the drill, and start.
Drilling in Metal: Always clamp the workpiece securely and use steel-specific drill bits. Carbide-tipped bits are recommended for thicker iron types. When creating larger holes, drill a smaller guide hole first.
Drilling in Ceramic Materials: Select between impact and non-impact drilling modes using the operation switch. Take regular breaks to prevent overheating the tool and drill.
Cutting: Attach the desired insert to the holder (chisel or punch) and set the work mode to forging. Avoid driving the insert tool too deeply into the workpiece, forging in thin layers with moderate pressure.
Depth Stop Drilling: The depth limiter assists in creating blind holes, particularly in concrete and wood. Set the depth with a marking on the drill bit, then set the depth stop accordingly.
