For precise measurements, the 81783 multimeter has an accuracy range of ± (1.2% + 5) for AC voltage measurements. Note that the device does not support TRUE RMS measurements; results are effective values for pure sinusoidal waveforms only.

The multimeter is equipped with a data hold function that displays the currently measured value. It operates on a 9V battery (6F22) and comes with measuring probes that include overload protection.
